SelfTorture for Dummies a 21st century shortform saga of love treachery and curses eBook Maggie Moon
I haven’t read a poetry book in a long time and after reading this one, I wanted to slap myself in the face. This short poetry book is beautiful (I love the headings) and very easy to read in one sitting. Most importantly, Maggie Moon drags the reader in, questioning and exploring depths with one question in mind. What is love?
Is it more than the butterflies swarming in your stomach? The heartfelt need to always be close to someone you cherish? Is it a different kind of pain, betrayal, or lust?
After I finished reading, I found myself questioning my own definition of love, what it meant to me, and how it meant to others.
If you also find yourself questioning the concept of love or if you’re curious on what love means to others, I highly suggest picking up a copy of this poetry book. It’s beautiful and amazing.
